HONOLULU, HI, November 17, 2017 – Damon Elliott and Jason Lent, co-founders and producers of AMBLVD Records, are proud to announce the “Let There Be Light” birthday celebration and fundraiser honoring Elliott’s Mother, multiple Grammy award- winning artist and American icon, Dionne Warwick. The gala dinner will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Hoku’s in the Kahala Hotel & Resort in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tickets are available at $200 per person.
Says Elliott, “I co-produced the film, ‘Let There Be Light,’ which is currently screening in theatres across the nation. My Mom is also a featured star in the movie and we both love the inspirational message of hope that it sends out to the world.” Adds Lent, “We are excited to produce this birthday party for Ms. Warwick, especially because the Kahala Hotel & Resort is one of her most favorite places.” Continued Elliott, “Mom and I have been coming to Hawaii for many years and it holds precious memories for us. Now that I am a new resident of Honolulu, I felt this was the perfect place to commemorate her 77th birthday.”
The VIP dinner on Dec. 9th at the Kahala Hotel & Resort will also have special invited guests including Kevin Sorbo, Sam Sorbo, and Mark Ballas & BC Jean of Alexander Jean, in attendance. The funds from the two-day dance workshop and birthday gala will benefit the missions of ARA (http://www.arahawaii.org/) and In Unison (http://inunison.org/).

The “Let There Be Light” event will be raising funds for the IN UNISON foundation (http://inunison.org/) through the educational institution of The American Renaissance Academy aka ARA (http://www.arahawaii.org/). The three organizations are non-profit 501c3 charities with missions that are closely aligned. This will be the first time IN UNISON, Ho‘ōla Nā Pua, and ARA will join forces to empower individuals and communities alike through their service to others.
