HONOLULU, HI, November 30, 2017 – Local boy and finalist from Season 14 of So You Think You Can Dance, Mark Villaver, returns home to Hawaii to lead the Unity Dance Workshop on Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th. Fellow dancer from So You Think You Can Dance, Kaylee Millis, will also be joining the workshop as a featured dance instructor.
Says Villaver, “I have been on tour with So You Think You Can Dance since early October and can’t wait to spend some time back home in the islands during the holiday season with my ohana. I’m also looking forward to sharing my style of dance with all of the students that attend the dance workshop at American Renaissance Academy in Kapolei.” Villaver continued, “Having my good friend and dance colleague from the So You Think You Can Dance tour, Kaylee Millis, is a real plus and will add to the expertise and excitement of the weekend.” Adds Millis, “This is my first time to Hawaii and how perfect is it that I’ll be there to dance with students from all over the island!”
The Unity Dance Workshop is sponsored by AMBLVD Records (AMBLVD) and American Renaissance Academy (ARA), and will be held at the Kapolei campus on Dec. 8th and 9th. Villaver is one of several talented dancers to come from Marcelo Pacleb’s award-winning 24/7 Danceforce studio in Kaneohe, and has performed alongside superstars Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato, and toured with Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour (see attached bio). Recently sponsored by Reebok, Millis is also a Season 14 finalist of So You Think You Can Dance and is currently on tour with Villaver (see attached bio).
